As I encounter a variety of challenges and contexts for learning, I am encouraged and supported to demonstrate my ability to select and apply a wide range of complex movement skills and strategies, creatively, accurately and with consistency and control. HWB 4-21a
I can organise my time to practise, consolidate and refine my skills to achieve my highest quality performance in a range of contexts. I am developing and sustaining my level of performance across all aspects of fitness. HWB 4-22a

Assessment questions/Success criteria

FootballI can perform short/long passes accurately, dribble with control, discipline and focus (training and games), I can work cooperatively, I can understand and follow the basic rules of the game (including roles and responsibilities) width, depth, agility, timing in attack/defence.
RugbyI can pass and receive the ball; I understand and can apply a back pass. I can tackle safely, I can use/help organise a defensive line. I know the rules or the game; I can carry the ball into a tackle and play under pressure.
BasketballI can perform a bounce and chest pass. I can get into space/evade a defender to receive a pass. I can man to man mark an opposition. I can set shot accurately and can attempt a lay-up during a game. I can cooperate with others to defend and attack successfully. I know what to do in a fast break. I know double dribble and travelling.
ShintyI can concentrate throughout the lesson, I can stop the ball with control, I can push pass, I can dribble on both sides of the stick, I can tackle and hit the ball safely.
FitnessI understand why and how to warm up. I can find my pulse. I can describe and explain progressive overload. I can describe 6 different aspects of fitness. (CRE, speed, strength, flexibility, LME, agility) I can use and develop a basic training programme to help develop all my aspects of fitness. To achieve a level 3, I can skip, do 12 sit-ups, 8 press-ups, tri cep dips, and achieve level 7.5 n the 20m beep test, run continuously for 12 minutes (cooper test).

Assessment questions/Success criteria

Indoor GamesI Can communicate with teammates, understanding listening is more important in a group than talking. I can use this to identify strengths in others to problem solve challenges. I can stay calm under pressure. I can pause and plan.
BadmintonI can play a high serve correctly. I can play an OHC to the back of the court. I can use the ready position correctly. Demonstrate consistent/effective footwork. I can play a range of shots to move my opponent around their court. I understand the rules and court markings. I can play a net shot, smash and block. I can organise a small tournament.
SoftballI can consistently 2 handed catch, I can one-hand catch simple passes. I can pitch underarm. I can hit the ball. I understand the rules and apply them fairly. I can field according the what is happening in the game (make quick decisions)
AthleticsI Can participate in individual events, show respect, and contribute to fair play whilst watching. I know how to set up the high jump safely. I can throw a 4kg shot putt safely, understand, and avoid the dangers.

2,3,4 – 24a Scottish Country Dancing, Fitness, Gymnastics, ultimate Frisbee.

Assessment questions/Success Criteria

Scottish Country DancingI can count and move in time with beats of music. I can perform 8 different Scottish country-dances. I can show respect, tolerance and maturity when dancing with others and watching.
GymnasticsI can analyse my performance and suggest/apply improvements for the next time. I can demonstrate flight, rotation, inversion and balance with a sequence of 4 movements. Head stand, forward roll, backward roll, moving around apparatus safely, rotation from the trampet, landing safely, manage basic risks with proactive decision making.
Ultimate FrisbeeApply width, depth and timing to attacking phases, support teammates, make good off the “ball” movements. Keep up with the game and consistently identify which end zone you are attacking.
BasketballI can use a range of methods (peer/self assessment/video/teacher feedback) to identify personal strengths and areas for development. I can use this information to help make decisions before a game. Who has the highest shooting accuracy should be shooting guard in a game, for example.
